IDG World Expo today
announced that the Video
Games Live Concert will
be preformed on Friday,
October 19, 2007, during
E for All Expo. The
Video Games Live concert
will be the first
performance to be held
at the new 7000-seat
Nokia Theatre, located
across from the LA
Convention Center.
“We’re thrilled to offer
Video Games Live at E
for All,” said Mary
Dolaher, CEO of IDG
World Expo. “Our show is
about bringing people
together in one place to
experience for
themselves the all the
elements –business and
creative – that go into
games. Video Games Live
brilliantly showcases
the complexity of the
game as an artistic
medium. It’s more than
just playing games; it’s
about how the games
touch us on so many
levels – both visual and
audio.”
“E for All is the show
gamers have been waiting
for,” said Tommy
Tallarico, leading
composer and Video Games
Live co-creator. “We’re
excited and honored to
be a part of the
inaugural show and to be
the very first
performance ever in such
a new and prominent
venue.”
Video Games Live will
feature music from high
profiled video games
performed by a full
symphony orchestra and
choir along. Exclusive
video footage and music
arrangements,
synchronized lighting,
solo performers,
electronic percussion,
live action and unique
interactive segments are
also said to be a part
of the performance.
Those that have advance
tickets to E for All
currently have access to
a reserved VIP section
and a meet and greet
session after the
performance.
