Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today announced that Injustice: Gods Among Us for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch is now offering an all-new in-game Challenge Mode event: the General Zod Challenge. Taking place Aug. 8-26, the General Zod Challenge is a follow-up to last month’s popular Batgirl Challenge and allows players to compete in a time-sensitive series of battles that, if completed, rewards them with an exclusive Gold Character Card.

Launched alongside the console version of the game this past April, the Injustice: Gods Among Us mobile game has more than 13 million installs to date, with over 80 percent of player reviews rating the game at 5 stars. Over a million players participated in the Batgirl Challenge Mode event last month, with 200,000 completing the challenge. Now, General Zod awaits.

Developed from the ground up by award-winning NetherRealm Studios, Injustice: Gods Among Us is a free-to-play mobile game that delivers stunning graphics and a completely unique fighting gameplay experience created especially for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch.  The game features a collectible card mechanic and engages players in 3-on-3 tag team combat that pits many of DC Comics’ most popular icons such as Batman, Superman, The Flash, Wonder Woman, Green Arrow, Aquaman and more against one another.
