ESL One Frankfurt 2015, set to take place in the Commerzbank-Arena (June 20th-21st), has confirmed its on-air talent line-up! Sean Charles and Soe Gschwind-Penski will return to the iconic football stadium as event hosts with new ESL employee, William ‘Chobra’ Cho, to host the analysis panel.
Comprised of Jacob ‘Maelk’ Toft-Anderson, Kai ‘H4nni’ Hanbueckers and Ben ‘Merlini’ Wu, the analysis panel will complement the in-game commentary of Toby ‘Tobiwan’ Dawson, Austin ‘Capitalist’ Walsh, William ‘Blitz’ Lee and Troels ‘Synderen’ Nielsen. Of the upcoming Dota 2 event, Tobiwan said, "there really is little that compares to the atmosphere at ESL One Frankfurt and I have been looking forward to feeling that esports vibe since the end of the last event in 2014.”
joinDOTA colleague and fellow ESL One Frankfurt 2015 commentator, Capitalist, added, "ESL Frankfurt was my first LAN event and the greatest one I’ve worked. It was an opportunity for me to prove myself as a commentator. This year I'm coming back with an equal amount of resolve and can't wait to experience the majesty of the event all over again. Nothing beats having 10,000+ fans screaming with you while watching the best Dota out there."
This year, the on-air talent crew features new faces, including that of William ‘Blitz’ Lee, mixed in with a few familiar ones. Of the opportunity to commentate the event, Blitz said, “I'm really excited not only because I get to commentate games at ESL One Frankfurt, but I’m just generally really happy about being able to attend. I've never been to an International LAN in Europe before, and it has been something of a dream of mine for quite some time.”
