A week after a mysterious crate was discovered deep in the Canadian wilderness, information about its contents are finally being released. 

Examined in a secure facility near Whistler, British Columbia, television personality Ajay Fry and Donkey Kong himself have revealed what the much-speculated crate contained – and it’s totally bananas! In fact, it’s an ice block full of bananas!

The discovered bananas, Donkey Kong’s favourite fruit, are part of Nintendo of Canada’s Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze Banana Mania Contest, which has Canadians guessing the number of bananas frozen inside the massive block of ice. Donkey Kong fans can check out a video of the shenanigans that took place at the secure facility with Ajay and Donkey Kong and take a closer look with a 360-degree view of the ice block on Nintendo of Canada’s Facebook page.
