Together with DTM, RaceRoom is organizing the DTM Online Championship 2015 from 11 June to 19 October 2015 open for all DTM fans, Sim-Racers and motorsport enthusiasts. In 18 Time Attack Qualification Races and subsequent Online Multiplayer Races, the fastest virtual DTM-driver will be determined.

As a highlight, all cars and tracks of the 2015 DTM season are exclusively provided for free to all participants. After every Time-Attack-Race, RaceRoom raffles DTM weekend tickets for the season 2015 among all drivers!

Just like in the real racing series, the virtual race drivers will have to prove their worth in a total of 18 races. The respective championship races will be held on the following race tracks: Hockenheimring, Lausitzring, Moscow, Norisring, Nürburgring, Oschersleben, Red Bull Ring and Zandvoort. All participants of the DTM 2015 Virtual Championship will be given free access to the DTM cars and race tracks of the season 2015 even before the official release of the DTM Experience 2015 game.

A total of 18 multi-day Time Attack Qualifying Races will be held during the season. The 20 best drivers from each Time Attack race will subsequently race against each other in a Multiplayer Race.

The driver who has scored the most points in the overall multiplayer ranking at the end of the championship will be crowned, the 2015 virtual DTM Champion. For each multiplayer race, four VIP Slots will be kept open for real DTM drivers to join (However, participation of the DTM racers every race cannot be guaranteed).

From a total of 18 races only the nine best results of the driver contribute to the overall standings. Therefore, a later entry is possible and beginners can train hard and improve. The decisive factor is always the best lap time of each driver and not its relative placement in the Time Attack. The selected level of difficulty does not matter in the Time Attack rounds but when it comes to the multiplayer races, it is all about Get Real!

The first Time Attack qualifying race starts on 11 June 2015. The Participation in the DTM 2015 Virtual Championship is free and is made possible by downloading the free-2-play racing game simulation RaceRoom Racing Experience. All that is required in order to take part in the competition is a RaceRoom Racing Experience account as well as a Steam account which are both free.
