Strategic browser game opens new versions in Northern Europe, Russia, the US and Brazil

Hamburg, May 22, 2012. Forge of Empires, the strategic browser game by company InnoGames is continuing its successful global launch. Within the next ten days, the game will double its available language versions from nine to eighteen: Russia and Brazil will start on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively, with the US Version following on Thursday. Next week, Sweden and Turkey, among others will follow. In the beginning of June, northern European countries, Denmark and Norway, as well as Thailand will be added. Each version starts with its own worlds to foster a community in their respective markets. Less than a month into its open beta, the game has attracted 250,000 registered players thus far.

Forge of Empires is a browser-based strategy game, where players, tasked with leading their own city to prosperity can research new technologies, build impressive historical buildings and enlarge their sphere of influence through military campaigns and skillful dealing. Other players’ cities can be visited and, while admiring structures and placement of buildings, be supported by polishing decorations or motivating workers for increased happiness or resource outcome. Forge of Empires also contains a long-term single player campaign, as well as an ever-growing number of PvP-features, which offer months of entertainment.
