InnoGames releases new update for its latest browser game

Hamburg, June 7, 2012. Players can now create guilds in InnoGames latest browser game, Forge of Empires. Together with the already existing social interactions, this will allow players to work closely together and support each other, while also increasing competition by introducing a global ranking system.

Guilds can easily be founded by inviting friends from the players’ world to join them. In order to discuss plans or plot with fellow members, every guild can incorporate a private forum. Additional guild features will be released soon. With the new global ranking system, one can now fight for the top world ranks. From now on, players can not only compare themselves to opponents in their neighborhood, but also to other skilled players from their entire world. Three ranking views will be available: players, guilds and medals. The new features are intended to increase multiplayer aspects – in a cooperative as well as competitive way.

Forge of Empires is a browser-based strategy game that allows players to create a city and develop it from the Stone Age and onward throughout the centuries. Players can create a vast empire through military campaigns and skillful dealings. InnoGames provides additional information in the game’s very own blog.
