INSURGENCY LAUNCHES FINAL CONTENT UPDATE FOR 2014

New World Interactive (NWI), the developer behind the highly-acclaimed, indie gritty shooter INSURGENCY, released a new content update for the game today to celebrate the holidays with their community. To mark the event, INSURGENCY will be on sale on Steam from December 12 through December 16 for $6.74 (a 55% discount off SRP).

The update features the addition of the Colt 1911 pistol, new maps, improvements to Survival gameplay, and other miscellaneous changes. It also includes new night maps Buhriz and Revolt, as well as gameplay changes to game mode Revolt. To celebrate this newest content update, INSURGENCY will be featured on a Twitch livestream today at 5:30 PM EST on INSURGENCY's Twitch channel (twitch.tv/insurgencygame).  NWI's community manager Michael Tsarouhas will be playing with Youtube personalities Bluedrake42, SpeirsTheAmazingHD, and DiplexHeatedHD, showcasing the new content. Building upon feedback from the dedicated, growing INSURGENCY community, NWI will continue to deliver high-quality, exciting content updates into the new year.

Built on Valve’s Source Engine, INSURGENCY supports up to 32-person multiplayer and six-player cooperative, and showcases a training level as well as offline practice against AI. The game is built for Windows PC and Mac OS X.
