Pacific Theatre of WW2: The Prequel - Order of Battle: Morning Sun is releasing today on PC and Mac!

Epsom, UK - January 28, 2016. - We often consider that the Pacific Theatre of WW2 started on December 7, 1941 with the surprise attack against the US naval base at Pearl Harbor. But tensions in this part of the world actually erupted years before, when the Japanese army launched a massive operation aimed at invading China.

This often-overlooked conflict engaged hundreds of thousands of men and featured huge-scale battles. The Battle of Shanghai, in 1937, described by Peter Harmsen as the Stalingrad on the Yangtze, is a very good example of this.

Today Order of Battle, one of the most epic wargames of 2015 (80 Metascore, 91% of positive reviews on Steam), explores this exotic theatre of operations with the release of Morning Sun, an expansion that introduces new scenarios exclusively covering the Second Sino-Japanese War.

It also expands the proven game mechanics of the series, by introducing more than one hundred new units, including cavalry, biplanes and other vehicles from this period!

Also tonight, on January 28, 20.00 (CEST), we are going to give players a sneak peak of the game on the official Twitch channel of the Slitherine Group !

A special 10% launch discount on the DLC is available for a limited time period. We are also going to offer a free Steam key to anyone who bought a copy from the Matrix Games or Slitherine store, once the game is available on this digital platform
