Warhammer 40,000 Armageddon gets its first major patch!

Released on November 26, Warhammer 40,000 Armageddon was well received around the world by fans of the franchise waiting for a true Warhammer 40,000 wargame. However, as with all good games, the work does not stop at release! Players identified a number of issues that could be improved and the dev team have worked fast to deliver what they want, and so we are really happy to announce that a major update addressing some major concerns is releasing today!
The v1.02 brings crucial improvements that will help the players get totally immersed in the game. Not only this patch fixes plenty of technical issues but also introduces new features, units and maps rebalancing and UI upgrades. Improving the overall comprehension of the game mechanics was a main focus and we truly believe that with the version 1.02, players will be able to discover the real tactical potential the game can offer.

- Scenarios and units rebalancing for a better incremental complexity level in single player and a fairer multiplayer experience
- Clearer game mechanics thanks to UI enhancements and extra layers of information. Players have now all of the necessary tactical tools in hands to build plans and achieve them!
- Melee impact animations and audio effects have been integrated
- Added hot seat mode for intense local combats
- Added chat screen to facilitate online interactions between players
If players own the Steam version of Warhammer 40,000 Armageddon, their patch will be applied automatically when it is available. All other users can run the updater tool on their launcher.
