SHORT PEACE LAUNCH DATE ANNOUNCED IN THE AMERICAS
Prepare to go on a wildly whimsical and spectacular ride with SHORT PEACE in less than a week! BANDAI NAMCO Games America Inc. announced that the SHORT PEACE anime movie project along with the Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day video game will launch together in the Americas as a multimedia movie and game combination on Tuesday, September 30th exclusively on the PlayStation®Network.
The widely acclaimed SHORT PEACE Japanese four-part film anthology features dazzling works by the famed anime artist Katsuhiro Otomo, who is best known for his popular dystopian cult film Akira. The entire SHORT PEACE project boasts masterful artistry that celebrates the unique qualities of Japanese culture using animation as a storytelling art form.
Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day stands as the fifth and final piece of the project in the form of a fast-paced side-scrolling game directed by Suda51. With Suda51’s reputation for wonderfully idiosyncratic games, gamers can expect Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day to be an abstract, bizarre and exhilaratingly frenzied gaming experience.
