The surreal retro side scrolling shoot-em-up features a host of grotesque enemies as you blast your way through them. Daydreamer: Awakened Edition, is now available digitally in the Americas, Europe, and Asia on PlayStation 4 at a 20% discount for one week, at $7.99. After the promotional period ends, the game will return to its original $9.99 price (discount valid in all territories, international pricing is comparable)  

Players will take the role of the daydreamer as she awakens and fights her way through an army of twisted aliens, robots, and mutants to the Earth's core. Besides satisfying twitchy retro gameplay and a creatively bizarre artstyle, the Awakened Edition has updated gameplay refinements, tweaks, and additions that make it the definitive nightmare experience.
