Nintendo announced it will launch Nintendo 3DS during the fiscal year ending March 2011, on which games can be enjoyed with 3D effects without the need for any special glasses. Nintendo 3DS will succeed the Nintendo DS series and will include backward compatibility, including games for Nintendo DSi. Nintendo plans to announce additional details at E3, which is scheduled to be held from June 15th.

Sony Computer Entertainment today announced that PlayStation Move motion controller for the PlayStation 3 launches worldwide this Fall. The PlayStation Move will be available as a standalone, a starter kit (with PlayStation Eye camera), and a bundle with the PS3. Sony Computer Entertainment America announced that PlayStation Home 1.35, a new service update available tomorrow, will decrease load times, enabling users to access PlayStation Home faster than ever before. In addition, PlayStation Home 1.35 replaces the PlayStation Home World Map with a new navigation system.
